ENCHAUFFOUR JOINS STALLION ROSTER

Group feature winner Enchauffour will stand his first season at stud run New Zealand.

The son of Volstead US will join Yabby Dam Farms’ line-up of stallions at Wai Eyre Stud near Canterbury.

Yabby Dam Farms is also standing On A Streak US and Classic Connection Fra at the stud.
The YDF-bred Enchauffour raced just 15 times in Australia for five wins - once as a two-year-old and four times as a three-year-old last season.

He won the Group 2 Breeders Crown 2yo colts & geldings final and was placed three times in group 1 company with second in the Vicbred Super Series 3yo colts & geldings final, and third in the Redwood 2yo Classic and Breeders Crown 3yo Colts and Geldings Final.

Enchauffour is the first Australian-bred son of Volstead, which was first introduced to the Southern Hemisphere as a sire by Yabby Dam Farms, too stand at stud

The four-year-old is bred on American-Franco lines being out of Sam Bourbon Fra mare Dream Island Fra.
Enchauffour’s maternal bloodline boasts some outstanding performers.

Dream Island is a half-sister to Italian Derrby winner Infinitif Ita, the sire of back-to-back Breeders Crown winner Ecurie D Dnk, which is making a big impression with his first crop of foals in the United States.
