Callmethebreeze currently 100% conception rate in first season at stud
Imported multiple group 1 winner CALLMETHEBREEZE Fra is making a strong start to his first season at stud.
Based at Yabby Dam Farms at Cardigan in Victoria, the million-dollar-earning trotter boasts a 100% conception rate with mares served to date, despite early concerns regarding his semen quality (10 mares in foal from 10 mares bred)
Led by Jason Robinson, who previously spent time with the heralded thoroughbred breeding establishment at Coolmore & Widden Stud, the YDF team is working closely with Callmethebreeze to produce the best outcome.
“He’s a dream to handle and collect,” Robinson said.
YDF principal Pat Driscoll is excited with Callmethebreeze’s progress, with group 1 winners Amoure de Frere (Love You Fra) and Pretty Majestic (Majestic Son Ca) among the mares in foal to the Great Southern Star champion.
To celebrate this success, the Callmethebreeze service fee has been reduced from $4,500 + GST to $3,600 + GST, serving only mares on farm at YDF’s Cardigan property.
Free agistment is being provided at YDF to all mares booked to be inseminated with Callmethebreeze, and all working and vet fees related to breeding are being waived.
Driscoll added, “The farm has wonderful facilities for outside mares (including mares with foals at foot), and we are looking forward to welcoming them onto the farm.”

Callmethebreeze service fee is $3,600 plus GST in Australia, on farm insemination only at Yabby Dam Farms, Victoria.
