HAMMER GOES BANG ON DEBUT

Two-year-old Hammer provided the highlight of the week with a highly impressive win on debut at Ballarat on August 21.

The colt is the second Yabby Dam Farms-bred starter and winner by first season sire Classic Connection Fra.

He follows unbeaten two-time winner Afternoon Breeze, with each trained by Russell Jack after going through the sales ring as yearlings.

Reinsman Nathan Jack said the stable had had a lot of time for Hammer for sometime.

“He’s very exciting.”

FRENCH sire Eridan will have his first Australian-bred starter at Bendigo on Wednesday, August 27.
2yo French Missile is out of Class Of Her Own and was bred by YDF.

Class Of Her Own is the dam of four winners, including multiple group 1 winner Always Ready (16 wins).
