ID IN SIGHT AGAIN FOR VETERANS
When it comes to durability, Parisian Artiste and Thebestbourbon are right at the top of the list among trotters bred by Yabby Dam Farms over the years.
At eight years of age, each continues to campaign against the best in the country.
And they could be about to embark on yet another big assignment, being nominated for the Inter Dominion Trotting Championship in Brisbane in July.
The Alex Ashwood-trained Parisian Artiste has not raced since October.
The Love You Fra-Schleck NZ gelding is already a veteran of three ID campaigns
He’s been a finalist at Melton in 2022, Menangle in 2024 and again at Albion Park last year.
Parisian Artiste has a record of 15 wins in 71 starts for almost $290,000.
Thebestofbourbon (Sam Bourbon Fra-Maidstone Miss NZ) contested the 2023 ID at Albion Park when she reached the final and was again an ID campaigner at Albion Park last year.
She’s an 18-time winner for almost $200,000.
Getting to another Inter Dominion would be a further feather in their caps.
