Keayang Zahara has captured the imagination of the Australian harness racing community.

It’s impossible not to be captivated by what she is achieving, the trotting mare becoming the latest to join the million dollar club.

YDF is proud to have played a small part in the Keayang Zahara journey.

Her dam Keayang Yankee was bred by the Lee and Craven family.

Trainer Marg Lee recalled a few years ago: “Paddy and I were at Yabby Dams Farm looking at stallions for her (Keayang Yankee) and we liked the look of Volstead (which was standing at YDF at the time). And Pat Driscoll suggested it was a good match.”

What a match it was.

USED To Me Fra has made a strong start to the new season after an impressive 2025, when he had 20 individual winners from 27 starts for 67 wins.

He’s already had four winners for six winners, with the improved Wallis (3 wins this season) his latest.
