A Group 1-winning son of the legendary Ready Cash, Always Ready was an outstanding performer from two years of age through to open company. Crowned the Australian Two-Year-Old Colt & Gelding Trotter of the Year, he won both the heat and final of the Vicbred Super Series (Gr.1) and the Edgar Tatlow Stakes (Gr.2), while also placing in the Vicbred Platinum Home Grown Classic (Gr.1), Redwood Classic (Gr.1) and the Australasian Breeders Crown (Gr.1). As a four-year-old he again won both the heat and final of the Vicbred Super Series (Gr.1) before adding the Breeders Crown Championship (Gr.2). He later claimed the Bendigo Trotters Cup (Gr.2) and recorded multiple Group placings in open company, retiring with 16 wins, eight seconds and earnings exceeding $306,000.
