BELLE NEIGE TARGETS NZ CLASSIC

Super mare Belle Neige has the Group 1 New Zealand Dominion Trot on her radar.

The Yabby Dam Farms-bred and owned multiple group 3 winner and group 1-placed 6yo is among 44 nominations for the big feature to be run at Addington Raceway in Christchurch on Tuesday, November 10.

Trained by Michelle Wallis and Bernie Hackett, Belle Neige is a 10-time winner for $250,000 in earnings.

She has not raced since April, but is close to making a return.

Her latest campaign featured back-to-back G3 wins.

First rankings for the Dominion will be released on Thursday (August 20).

TWO more first-time YDF-bred winners in the past week.

Sambezia delivered at Melton on Wednesday, August 12, and became the fourth winner bred by YDF out of Access To Success US - joining Itsallandover (14 wins), Preferred Love (3) and Mipersonaljet (2).

Jet Plane opened his account at Kilmore on Thursday, August 13, as the second winner out unraced Orne, which is also the dam of Ikigai (11 wins).
