BIG MOMENT IN NZ

An historic moment for Yabby Dam Farms in New Zealand.

2yo colt Duke of Bourbon became the first YDF-bred trotter sold by YDF at a NZ yearling sale to win.

He was sold for $240,000 at Karaka last year.

Unfortunately disqualified for excessive galloping on debut after being second past the post, Duke of Bourbon made amends by taking out an IRT Young Guns 2yo Trot Prelude at Alexandra Park at his second race start.

Duke of Bourbon is out of Dance Craze, which is close to having her 3yo daughter Queen Of Sees returning to the races in Victoria.

By Bold Eagle Fra, Queen OF Sees has raced twice (not since November) and on Tuesday made it back-to-back Melton trial wins.

YDF-raced and bred winners and placegetters across Australasia in past week:

1st TETRICK (Timoko Fra-Armula) 4yo gelding NZ - bred

1st DUKE OF BOURBON (Face Time Bourbon Fra-Dance Craze) 2yo colt NZ -bred
