BROODMARE’S FORTUNES CHANGE QUICKLY

A massive week for Yabby Dam Farms-bred Ready Cash mare Bouttemont.

A winner of three of just 10 race starts, up to the start of this month she had had three foals to the races, but was still waiting for her first winner.

All that changed quickly.

In the space of four days two of her three offspring to have raced saluted.

3yo gelding Jetaway Saint followed three straight top three finishes to break his maiden status at Kilmore on September 10.

Then at Melton on September 13, Bouttemont became a black-type producing broodmare with Jilliby Aura taking out a listed $75,000 Nutrien Equine Classic Race Series 2yo trotting fillies final.

Jilliby Aura was one off four YDF-bred winners at the meeting meeting.

Sam Nien won the $75,000 Nutrien Equine Classic Race Series 2yo trotting colts and geldings final and Tracy The Jet dominated the $125,000 Nutrien Equine Classic Race Series 3yo trotting fillies final.

Then Lady Vici made it eight wins on end.
