Two impressive performances in the Breeders Crown 3YO Colt Trot eliminations, with strong connections to Yabby Dam Farms stallions IN RANGE and CLASSIC CONNECTION!
BIG RANGER, a son of IN RANGE, bounced back in style to claim his elimination in 1:51.1 for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Anette Lorentzon. The victory takes his career record to 15 wins from 19 starts, with earnings approaching $1 million!
“He felt like his old self. He was really strong and ready to go. He finished out that mile really easy,” said Tetrick.
“He’s a special animal. He’s just so fast and he’s so gifted off the car. He makes my job really easy.”
DIABOLIC HILL produced a brilliant finish to defeat Hambletonian champion Apex in a lifetime-best 1:51.2, driven by Todd McCarthy.
DIABOLIC HILL also has a close family connection to our stallion CLASSIC CONNECTION, with their dams, CRYSTI DREAM and CRYS DREAM, being maternal half-sisters.
Both colts now head to the Breeders Crown 3YO Colt Trot Final, showcasing the quality of these bloodlines on the international stage.
