Making the most of opportunities.
This is exactly what the likes of highly credentialed French-base stallions Bold Eagle and Face Time Bourbon are doing with progeny on track in Australia and New Zealand.
Bold Eagle had two winners in Australia in the past week.
NZ-bred Kyvalley Ray added another group 1 to his already impressive record in the Need For Speed Prince Final for 3yo trotting colts & geldings at Melton on Saturday night (October 10).
He now has nine wins across Australia and NZ for $350,000 in earnings.
2yo filly Snowin opened her winning account at Ballarat on October 8.
Bold Eagle has had six Australian-bred starters for three winners, also including 3yo filly Queen Of Sees (5 wins).
Face Time Bourbon has had just one starter, NZ-based Duke of Bourbon, from his 11 Australian-bred foals, with the oldest progeny being 2yo.
Face Time Bourbon had his second success in the listed NZB Standardbred Harness Million 2yo Trot at Addington on October 9.
UNBEATEN youngster Verbici continues to enhance the reputation of his sire Orlando Vici Fra, which boast a 100% winning strike rate with 26 Australian-bred foals to race.
He notched up his eighth win in the listed Yabby Dam Farms 2yo Colts & Gelding Final at Menangle on Saturday night (October 10).
Verbici already stands as Orlando Vici’s fourth biggest earner, with his $184,204 putting him behind the legendary Just Believe ($1.929m), hardy campaigner Brandlo Prince ($238k) and ill-faced Cravache Dor ($184k).
