MAKING A CONNECTION

The first crop of Classic Connection Fra continues to build on its record.

The Australian-bred I’m Connected gave his 3yo progeny 12 wins for the season with victory in New Zealand.

I’m Connected now has two wins this season, to add to the tally in Australia.

Classic Connection has six individual 3yo winners in Australia (strike rate 60%) to be fifth on the Australian trotting sires list in this category.

IN a quirky twist, Love You Fra and Bold Eagle Fra each produced pacing winners in the space of two days in Australia.

Parisian Bandit (Love You Fra) had his fourth career win at Kapunda on Sunday (October 4) and 3yo colt Keayang Hustler (Bold Eagle) remained unbeaten after two two starts at Horsham on Monday (October 5).

BOLD Eagle has two starters in the listed $75,000 NZB Standardbred Harness Million 2yo Trot at Addington on Friday (October 9).

He has colt Apollo Eleven and filly Lipstick Cherry.

BOLD EAGLE will also be to the fore in the Group 1 $60,000 Need For Speed 3yo Prince Final at Melton on Saturday night (October 10).

NZ-bred Kyvalley Ray will be out to make amends for a last-start mistake and add to his outstanding record of eight wins and $320,000 in earnings.

Love You Fra, Quaker Jet Fra, Classic Connection Fra and Timoko Fra will also be represented in the race.

YDF stallions also have a presence in the Group 1 $60,000 Need For Speed 3yo Princess Final, with Quaker Jet Fra and Brillantissime having runners.
