A top-class son of the legendary Love You, Village Mystic was one of the outstanding performers of his generation in France. He announced his arrival with victory in the Prix de Château Chinon (Gr.3) at three before reaching his peak at four, capturing the prestigious Prix de Sélection (Gr.1) alongside the Prix Jules Thibault (Gr.2), Prix de Tonnac-Villeneuve (Gr.2) and Prix Octave Douesnel (Gr.2). He was also runner-up in the Critérium Continental (Gr.1) and recorded multiple Group placings throughout his career. As an older horse he added victories in the Prix de la Haye (Gr.2), Prix de Château Chinon (Gr.3) and Prix de Bruxelles (Gr.3) while continuing to perform at the elite level. Village Mystic retired with 12 wins from 44 starts and earnings exceeding $1.37 million, establishing himself among France's leading trotters of his generation.

At stud, Village Mystic has quickly established himself as a sire of international significance, producing 794 foals with progeny earnings exceeding $30.5 million, headed by Group 1 stars Iguski Sautonne and Hanna des Molles.
