An internationally acclaimed performer, Ecurie D established himself among the world's elite trotters with a career defined by speed, consistency and versatility. Unbeaten as a three-year-old, he captured the European Championship (Gr.1) before adding further Group success at four with victories in the Tommy Hannes Lopp (Gr.2), Axel Jensens Minneslopp (Gr.2) and multiple Scandinavian Group races. His greatest achievements came in open company, where he won the prestigious US Breeders Crown on two occasions, along with the Allerage Open Trot, TVG Open, Cutler Memorial and Sweden's Ina Scots Ara, while placing in elite events including the Maple Leaf Trot, John Cashman Memorial and an Elitloppet elimination. Retiring with 20 wins from 31 starts and earnings exceeding $1.8 million, Ecurie D proved himself one of the outstanding international trotters of his generation.
By the proven sire Infinitif, Ecurie D is out of the Muscles Yankee mare To Soon, whose four foals of racing age are all winners, headed by Danish Group 1 winner Fascination. His maternal family is among the most accomplished in European trotting, tracing through See You Soon, Langone and Rangone, a lineage responsible for champions including Dream With Me, Daguet Rapide, Quatre Juillet and Used To Me. Ecurie D’s first North American crop is already making an impressive start, with 49 foals and 29 starters to date.
Leading the way is Lifetime Dreamer, who has quickly emerged as one of the standout two-year-old trotters in the USA. The son of Ecurie D produced a brilliant 1:51.1 world-record mile to win the $180,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Platinum Final at The Meadowlands, making him the fastest two-year-old trotter in the USA in 2026.
Lifetime Dreamer has already earned $110,000, while Ecurie D’s first crop also includes Internal Dialog (Q1:54.0), Lets Play Ecurie (Q1:57.3), Robuchon (1:57.3), Oliver Blu (Q1:58.3) and Dandelion Wine (Q1:59.4).
